On Thursday, May 8, Professor Donna Ginther of the Economics Department, testified before the House Science and Technology Subcommittee on Research and Science Education. Dr. Ginther is a national expert regarding regarding women pursuing academic careers. The subcommittee sought her testimony as they are contemplating writing a law to provide greater support for women in academic careers. You can watch the hearing online.
