NIST seeks nominees for advisory boards

National Institute of Standards and Technology is seeking nominees to serve on its prestigious federal advisory boards. The boards are the private/public interface between NIST's mission and the private sector.

The boards oversee fields including advanced technology, information security, andmanufacturing. NIST's Visiting Committee on Advanced Technology is multidisciplinary and includes representatives from areas including business, research, new product development, engineering, labor, education, management consulting, environmental issues and international relations.

Serving on a federal advisory committee is a great networking opportunity and a way to see early trends in national research fields. If you are interested, please review the NIST Web site and contact Keith Yehle for more information.
